Becky is an engineer who specializes in designing, munging, and shipping data.
She is currently a data engineer for Trello at Atlassian. Previously, she was a U.S. federal civil servant, serving as a tech lead and member of the engineering team at 18F, a consultancy inside the General Services Administration.
During her 18F tenure, Becky lead the technical implementation of the DATA Act, the nation’s first open data law. She entered the world of public spending via her role as the former Director of Data and Technology at National Priorities Project, a federal budget research organization.
A twenty year tech veteran, Becky’s held leadership positions in fields ranging from higher education to healthcare.
